WATERCOLOR ARTIST My passion for photography is almost as close to my heart as my finished paintings. I work from my own photo references exclusively. Every photo reference, as every painting is a study in composition and design. The play of light and shadow on an object draws me near emotionally and I become as one with the subject.

A Collection of ‘Tac-Down’ Collages on Canvas
‘A Touch of Nostalgia on an Abstract Plane’ ™
Capturing a touch of ‘yesterday’s warmth’ with the ‘conceptual look’ of today is my goal! As the series title suggests ‘A Touch of Nostalgia on an Abstract Plane’tm. Each canvas features a touch of realism and the group is named ‘Lost…..’, with a background which is abstract. Thus with each canvas in this Series I have created both realism and abstraction!
This ‘Tac-Down’ technique takes the ancient art of collage to a whole new level. This is achieved by utilizing old and ordinary papers from many sources, altering and transforming those papers to create a new look. This new look is what sets the ‘Tac-Down’ technique apart from other collages. Also, among other things, this process is very labor intensive but the chic finish is very today!
